Right after the eating festival that was Christmas, we decided that it was time to clean up…our bodies, that is. And to kick things off, we gave the new juicer some work to do. Good thing that fruits were aplenty so we had lots to juice. Threw in some veggies for good measure. And voila, we came up with several 5-A-Day concoctions. Yummy, healthy, and…yellow.

Somewhere Under The Rainbow
Just to set the record straight….I didn’t take this picture. My husband did. But what would an album be without at least 1 mug shot of the photog…right?
So I chose one that I think is pretty cool.
This was taken at Niagara Falls a few years ago. I unearthed it while cleaning out my hard-drive.
Many thanks to the rainbow that decided to show at precisely the right moment.

The Last Sunset of the Decade
It was raining on the morning of New Year’s Eve. And we were scheduled to check in at our favorite hotel at the Bay Area to witness the changing of the year.
We got a suite at the 22nd floor which had a perfect view of Manila Bay but the clouds obstructed the wonderful view of what could be a spectacular show on the last day of the year.
But at exactly 5:30 p.m. I looked out the window and saw that the clouds parted just enough to let us witness the final sunset of the year…..of the decade. Spectacular if you ask me.
