One late afternoon last week, as the sun was just about to set, I looked out the window to see that the sky had burst into a flames. The clouds were pink and the sun was a fiery orange as it bid bye-bye.

Pulpectomy
A few weeks ago my eldest daughter complained that she had a gum boil. I immediately scheduled a dental appointment to have her checked.
The verdict was that she had a gum infection due to a dying tooth. There were 2 options…tooth extraction or a pulpectomy. Since the tooth involved was not yet permanent, I decided that she shouldn’t be made to endure an extraction. So we went with the pulpectomy which is like a root canal for kids.
Since the tooth was almost entirely dead, there was no pain which made going to the dentist bearable.

Cluck for Luck
I spotted these souvenirs being sold at one of the small antique shops near Senado Square in Macau. I assumed that they were for gambling luck since they were being sold alongside “lucky coins” and “lucky dice”. With Macau being the gambling and casino center of Asia, luck is something you definitely need.
The Reds Win
Lucky us, we were invited again by the husband’s polo playing boss to watch the king of all polo games this season. Just to clarify, we’re not polo fans. We don’t run in that league. But to be invited to watch is certainly something we look forward to. Nothing like seeing men on horses thundering down the field with mallets swinging wildly in the air and on the ground. Then theres the aftermath….champagne and glorious food. What else could be better.
